Okay – I know we’re not out of the woods yet but it’s nice to be able to find some sort of normality again.  I had my first day of classes Saturday.  Four days later I’m still buzzing from that fresh energy that comes with sharing my creative passion.
As an artist I love process.  I thrive on problem solving and figuring out systems to make the studio more efficient for working.  It’s been a challenge – one I’ve enjoyed – sorting out the best ways to keep my studio and its visitors safe while we all find our way through this pandemic.
I’m happy with the results and my first day of classes was a great success. I’ve left myself more time than usual between each class to clear up and swap out tools, water and spray down surfaces.  The studio has never looked so organised. It truly is a space that brings me bliss!
So let’s all look forward to sharing passions, conversations, hopes and dreams and look at our journey through this challenging year as a moment we were forced to pause and breathe.  Let’s not let the stresses that came along with it overwhelm us indefinitely.  Remember . . . It was a pause.
The studio is open and ready to help you unwind.  If you want to pop by to see what’s new just drop me an email so we can set up a time to meet.  I’m keeping the studio open by appointment as lockdown has taught me to make time for my own artistic practice.  I do love visitors though so don’t be shy.
