Design, carve and decorate your very own Halloween pumpkin in clay!
4th October from 4-6 pm
In this workshop you will be given a clay pumpkin which has been thrown on the potter’s wheel. It will be coloured with an orange slip and at a leather hard state. You will be able to carve into this clay pumpkin as you would a real one! Once carved you will be able to decorate your pumpkin with underglazes.
When each pumpkin is finished they will be dried completely and fired in one of our kilns, glazed and fired once more. When they are through the final firing you’ll have the perfect fun or spooky tea light holder to add to your Halloween decorations.
