Time is running away at speed!

Has anyone else been having this same conversation with people lately? It was just January a minute ago and now the sun is shining and summer has come early.

I don’t know about you but this sense of time speeding by alongside all of this sunshine has lit a fire within me. I’m full of energy and I’m eager to get moving. Freyja and I have been enjoying long walks in the mornings and then settling into productive days of making. Well – she’s been napping away after her walks while I work. Typical studio manager.

I’m finding my body of work changing too. It’s has a lighter story to tell. It feels fresh.
I’m very excited to show it to the world for the first time at the Pittenweem Arts Festival. I’m also very much looking forward to those ten days away to Pittenweem. I’m calling it a working holiday. It will be a long nine days of running my stall overlooking the sea. It will also be days and evenings of fun.
I’ll be meeting new people, catching up with old friends and smelling that salty sea air. I’ll wading into the tidal pool, searching out some new beach treasures and cooking up feasts. I will do all of this while giving my hard worked arms a very well earned rest. With Frayja and Steve by my side of course.
