Pottery Classes at Linlithgow Pottery

I offer intimate pottery classes in my studio.  There are two class options available to choose from.

Taster Classes for 2

In the one off taster sessions you will have the chance to have a go on the potters wheel.It’s a great creative experience and in the end each person will have up to two pieces to enjoy.  As it’s a single class I do all of the trimming, pulling handles, glazing and firing of pieces made. Be ready for lots of giggling, a fair bit of messiness and a ton of fun when trying out throwing for the first time. I book my taster classes on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • Each session runs for approximately 1 1/2 hours
  • Taster sessions are £100.00 for two people
  • I can have up to four people booked in together (I will add more if booking for four)
  • All tutelage,  materials and the firing of all work is included
  • Vouchers available!

Six Week Blocks

I also offer six week blocks.   In these classes each person will learn all of the basics of throwing, trimming, surface decoration and glazing. I do understand life sometimes gets in the way – don’t panic! – you are allowed to make up two classes within the six week block if missed.

  • Classes run on Thursdays and Fridays and Saturdays for 2 1/2 hours.
  • Six week blocks are £270.00 Per person and cover all tutelage, materials and firings.
  • Vouchers available – Give the gift of creativity!
